What is the PMS Color Browser?
The Pantone Matching System (PMS) is the global standard for specifying and communicating color in design and manufacturing. With over 3,600 standardized spot colors across coated, uncoated, metallic, pastel, neon, skin-tone, and Color of the Year collections, finding the right Pantone color can be challenging without a physical swatch book.
This free PMS Color Browser lets you instantly search and browse our reference set of PMS color approximations by name or HEX code. Click any swatch to reveal its complete color data — HEX, RGB, and CMYK values — all with one-click copy buttons. Whether you’re a graphic designer confirming a brand color, a prepress technician verifying ink specifications, or a product developer sourcing a finish, the PMS Color Browser gives you the reference data you need in seconds. If you do not have a code yet and are working from a logo or photograph, start with our guide to finding the Pantone color from an image. The colors Pantone added to the Formula Guide in September 2026 are collected on their own page, new Pantone colors 2026, each compared with the nearest older Pantone.

Working outside print? A Pantone number often has to be carried into another colour standard before it can be manufactured. Cross-reference any PMS colour against RAL for paint and powder coating, NCS for Scandinavian architecture, HKS or TOYO for regional offset printing, Federal Standard 595 for defence work, or CIELAB for measurement and ΔE tolerance.
Making something physical with the colour you just found? The craft and paint converters take a PMS number to a material you can buy — DMC floss, Copic markers, ORACAL 651 vinyl, Siser HTV, and house paint from Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, Dulux, Farrow & Ball or Behr.
